Covered in a light layer of Minnesota snow is Milwaukee Road 2-8-2 Mikado #401 as it sat in a storage line at the Minneapolis yard. Built by Baldwin in May of 1922 as MILW #8302, it was later renumbered in June of 1938 to MILW 402. Eventually, the scrapper's torch did its job in December of 1954 afterthe loco gave 32 years of service.
