| Heavyweight 46 seat coach. Ex-Southern Railway 1006, ex-Southern 1678. Reportedly built by Pullman in 1922. Converted to a reclining seat coach at Hayne Shops in 1940. Donated by the Southern Railway in June 1968. Restored with conversion to non air condioned open window coach by the chapter at Hallsboro Yard. Entered servoce in July 1983 at the NRHS national convention. Used on Norfolk Southern Steam Specials 1997-1992. Used on the Buckingham Branch excursions since 1993. |
