NCRY 6763         
Maybe someone knows the ancestory of this engine. Possibly LIRR and or New Haven? I know it's in VIAs colors but I think it has a longer history than that. Is it even a FA-1? Corrections welcomed in comments section.

Jeremy MacPherson General That is a former VIA FPA-4, prior to being owned by VIA they belonged to Canadian National and were powered by a 1800HP 251 engine as apposed to the 244 engine in the FA1. 3/15/2009 1:41:11 AM
Tim Steeves General This was originally built for CN as #6763 in Nov-1958, Serial # 82272. It became VIA in 1978, then sold to WHRC in 1995. 7/9/2010 6:41:41 PM
