| Regular Switcher and Slug set seen in Pasco,WA in October 1980. ET-2 was built by Northern Pacific as NP 650, a Baldwin VO-660 IN 1940. They rebuilt it as a slug NP ET-2 in 1960. It was finally retired in late 1988 after 48 years service. BN 179 was its regular mate being another NP loco as NP 120. It had a single life after BN, operating as NUCX 5, for Nucor Steel in Darlington,SC. |
