iLocations. Here is the first of two images of official photos that were taken near Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, on 12 January 1921. Shown here is a portion of the Pennsylvania Railroad's refrigerator car icing facility. Note that the facility has just one deck and that crushed ice is poured into the hatches via removable chutes. The names of the Workmen and the road number of the "H" Class (2-8-0) "Consolidated" steam locomotive pictured here are not recorded. William E. Burket Collection.
