| One of a scale inspectors jobs is to oversee repair/rebuilding. Kevil scale has its deck and dead rails removed and is ready to have the live rails taken off prior to removing the lever system. The scale was overhauled in preperation of traffic from the Wharton Iron Mines, traffic which never materialized. A total of 29 cars were weighed on this scale before it was removed from service in 1979. |
