| Whew. After abandoning the chase of 4014 at Chester, I ran ahead to Valmeyer. I'd scoped out a spot on the ridge at Salt Lick Point (if you're in the area, check it out!), and had climbed to the top in record time. It was about 95° F that day, and about 80% humidity. I spent the hour waiting for the Big Boy trying to keep hydrated; I'd hate to have been in the cab for this. |
