Duplexes. Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide showing Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5537, a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during May of 1946 and retired in December of 1953 after just seven years of revenue service. Note the large PRR "Keystone" painted on the side of the Coaling Station. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (Gift from Brad Mann.) |
