| New Orleans Public Service, Inc. car 962 was outbound on the CLAIBORNE line as it turned from Clio Street onto the median of South Claiborne Avenue. The 962 had been built by the Perley A. Thomas Car Works in 1924. Buses replaced streetcars on this line on 5 January 1953, but the 962 is still in operation on the ST. CHARLES line in 2020. (approximate date of photo) |
