Texas & Pacific D-10s class 4-6-0 383 was being serviced at the Texas Pacific-Missouri Pacific Terminal Railroad of New Orleans’ RACE STREET YARD. It had been built as a D-10 class locomotive by Alco’s Cooke Works (44498) in October 1907, was rebuilt into a D-10s class loco in July 1917 and was retired in March 1952, after being replaced in local service by new EMD SW8’s 811-816. |
