Looks like CR 5064 sits at the end of a scrap line at the Conway yard. Built by Alco in February of 1965 as PRR #2426, it served the Pennsy until the merger with NYC. It then became PC 2426 followed by CR 2426 before being renumbered #5064 just before retirement on 3/16/1981. Conrail conductor Ken Taylor documented this loco before it moved on to another life. |
