| Four new Canadian National ET44AC units were at the north end of the Webtec-GE test track three miles north of the Fort Worth plant. The nearest unit was lettered CN-35 / 3197 on the side of its cab, but it had labels printed with CN 31 / 3193 on its nose and its inverter cabinet behind its cab. The painted units were 3185 (65880) and 3187 (65882) while the far unit was lettered CN 3191. The dates on the 3185 and 3187 were April, even though this photo was taken on 26 March! The units were testing in primer because the factory had run out of CN paint :) |
