WAMX 4219 poses on the main after arriving at the yard with L863
This is a unique unit on the WSOR, with its headlight mounted on the short hood instead of between the cab numberboards, hinting at its CP heritage (although the bell has been moved to the traditional underframe location). The frame stenciling denotes this unit as an SD40-2, although it was built as an SD40 and retains the shorter frame and Flexicoil trucks (rather like the ex-C&O former 407X serier, which are designated SD40M-2). It is also the only unit with a red goose logo on the short hood, placed in the middle of the thick gray chevron (presumably due to the headlight). The other units painted to WSOR colors by Watco have a white logo placed in the red area near the top of the hood. The locomotive was painted in this scheme sometimZ in the late fall of 2017, after spending over a year roaming WSOR territory in the Watco "Yellow Bonnet" scheme. There was also a four-axle unit on the system in that scheme, although I don't know the number as I never saw it.
