| PC 2845 leads a decent freight on the Falls Road, back when it was still a thru route to NF. That's the 390 bridge (green) in the background. They've just crossed Lee Rd. and these bridges are over the Erie Canal. The one on the right is the trolley bridge, sitting unused for many years prior to this scene. Today, both still exist but now both are unused. The Falls Road is no longer in one piece, the rails have been pulled at Lee Rd, this bridge has been blocked off, and what's left is a rarely used industrial track. |
