Shown here is Kittanning Mountain which forms the backdrop for the Horseshoe Curve, as seen from the highest point on the Curve proper. Barely visible in the center are the K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" locomotive #1362 and the whitewashed rock horseshoe. |
