Long distance pushers  Contributor's Pick!       
Most trains were not heavy enough to get pushers out of Scranton, and practice was to put the tonnage on and drag it up to Clarks Summit with the road power. Still, some trains got helpers, such as this 555. They would stay on all the way to Binghamton.
