ARR 3001
This matched set of as-delivered black Geeps have been paired together for the past few weeks. They can be seen hanging out around the engine shops on the south end of the yard, and I've been wanting a shot of them for quite some time. One tidbit: You would think ARR 3001 would be the class unit of these GP40-2s, but trailing ARR 3006 is actually the class unit. It was built as ARR 3000, and, for some reason, it was re-numbered to 3006. Anyone know when or why?
