A massive Great Northern 2-8-8-0 steam engine stored at Superior WI in June 1958.         
This was at the end of steam where steam engines were stored in case of need during the fall grain rush across the GN system. The GN had a large yard in Superior WI that remains a large switching yard on the BNSF. 4 BNSF SD9's that once locked couplers with steam engines still remain on the BNSF in 2012.
