Built in 1907 by the Baldwin Locomotive Works for the Southern Railway, this locomotive also spent time on the Virginia Blue Ridge Railway of Piney River, VA before migrating north to haul tourists on the Morris County Central Railroad in New Jersey. Inactive since 1978 and donated to the Whippany Railway Museum in 2008, it has been restored to its original Southern livery. Named "Joseph Supor Jr." in honor of the man who saved it from the scrapper's torch in 1999 and took care of it until his death in 2007. |
