PRR 5244, B-6SB, #1 of 2, c. 1957         
Here is the first of two successive duplicate 35mm color slides by an unidentified photographer that were taken at the Station in New Egypt, New Jersey, c. 1957. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5244, a B-6SB (0-6-0) switcher built in Juniata during February of 1916 and retired on 15 July 1959 after 43 years of faithful service. The name of the Engineman pictured here is not recorded. Immediately behind the tender is PRR N-6B cabin car #982186.
