Coal loads rolling south over the old flyover. That sign in front of the lead loco is the point where BNSF trackage turns to UPRR trackage, hence the Joint Line!

amtrakswchief 4 General This train hasn't crested the Palmer Divide. It goes downhill for a while into the "Sag". A lot of the time a train will sit in the sag on an approach signal becasue stopping at the switch a train can't get started. 3/6/2009 4:21:42 PM
