The 1910 Kansas City Mexico & Orient station served as that railroad's Texas headquarters until the AT&SF took over in 1928. After a $1.1 million restoration in 1997, the Railway Museum of San Angelo began operations in the west end of the building. South Orient began operating the line in 1996 after the Santa Fe departed and Ferromex's Texas Pacifico took over operations in 2001. |
