This was a typical hot, humid, hazy day in the Smoky Mountains. This is one of two daily excursion trains which the GSMR runs. This one departs Bryson City, NC at 10:30am and heads West to Hewitt, NC where the train pulls into a siding, the locomotives run around the train and the train heads back to Bryson City. A GSMR employee flagged the crossing when they made their run around. |
