Description:  With COVID-19 restrictions finally beginning to lift, I have finally been able to find some more leeway in where I go to catch trains again. Today, CFE received a windmill blade train from BNSF. These blades are to be put up to further continue the farm in Van Wert County. Ive never shot a windmill blade train, and thankfully the ingredients came together (laid over in Fort Wayne for a while but left before dark), and I was able to head over to Monroeville to grab it! These blades are ginormous close up!

Description:  With rumors circulating that a Warbonnet was on the point of CSX I170 on the Garrett Subdivision today, I decided to hi-tail up to CSX. The train was delayed in Walkerton to drop off some bad order cars, which ended up giving me some time to search around East Wayne Yard. While driving through the yard, I found an SD70ACe being spun on the tunrtable.

Description:  Two for one! While on my way up to CSX, I found a train sitting in the siding east of town, and low and behold, it also had a Warbonnet in the consist. While not leading, it is pretty rare to find two in one day in Northeast Indiana! This one had been hopping around the area for quite some time, and I believe this train was 14Q, but Im not very confident on that.

Description:  With a little more time to kill, I decided to go directly up State Road 101 through Woodburn to see if the ND&W had any power lying around. While the ND&W didnt have anything in town, NS did, in the form of the Loram Tie Train that has been bouncing around the area. It appears that all the tie laying has been done on the Wabash 5th District. Made for a nice surprise addition to the afternoon.

Description:  With I170 still nowhere near, I saw on ATCS that NS had a train lined up across the diamond at Saint Joe so I decided to head over there. I was treated to a southbound grain train with a nice collection of older hopper cars from several different private carriers.
